IDEMA has been actualizing its vision of development management to life through its projects for 10 years. In the last 3 years, IDEMA has channeled its main competitive abilities to provide relief to the contemporary, hyperdimensional problems of today: effective management of humanitarian aid, migration and migration integration.

In this context, in order to increase effectiveness, efficiency, quality and human-orientation of humanitarian services offered to refugees and asylum-seekers from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan that have settled in Turkey,  IDEMA has been running capacity development projects of public, private and nonprofit organizations that targets disadvantaged groups such as women, children, youth and disabled.

IDEMA has specialized in developing improving employability and career development of disadvantaged groups, primarily the refugees from Syria. In this context, IDEMA has developed projects to enhance career development and employability of the women, children, young, disabled and working age refugees that appear to be settled in Turkey.

For those of international organizations, civil society, local governments and private companies that want to contribute to development on the are, there are a number of projects available that they can work on as a primary actor or support. These projects aim to ensure short-term and long-term employability and strengthen means of living by providing capacity development training on vocational education and entrepreneurship.

IDEMA offers monitoring, assessment and analysis of humanitarian projects to organizations working on management, funding and developing of humanitarian projects. IDEMA offers objective assessment reports of such projects by using techniques such as field work, target group interviews and surveys to assess the current standing of the project in areas such as but not limited to effective management, impact on the target group, interactions with the stakeholders and sustainability of the application.

The assessment reports assembled by IDEMA also contain strategy development suggestions. These strategies involve sub-strategies such as but not limited to long-term public relations, human resources management, fund raising and fund management methodologies.

The contemporary developments in the last 10 years have called for humanitarian aid sector to be an important employment area and workforce supply. International aid organizations have been the foremost provider of  job opportunities in locations globally dispersed. In the last 3 years, humanitarian aid processes ongoing in Turkey for Syrian refugees and asylum-seekers has transformed Turkey into a hub for international aid organizations.

IDEMA has established Development School to cultivate experts and offer career opportunities in Humanitarian Aid Management. A range of expertise programs is available for different areas of humanitarian aid work.

In the meantime, national and international humanitarian aid organizations have been recruiting talent from Turkey and other countries, and their demand for talent enhancement in the areas of humanitarian management, teamwork and capacity improvement lingers. IDEMA satisfies this demand by offering training in areas such as but not limited to humanitarian aid stakeholders, development management, project management, public relations, communications, strategy, logistics, finance management, field coordination.
